AI Defect Spotter

A second pair of eyes on every site photo.

Consteng reviews the photos your engineers already take and flags possible defects and safety risks. Every flag goes to a qualified engineer or safety officer, who confirms or rejects it before anything is raised.

What your team sees on site.

  • Quality flags: honeycombing, cracks, missing cover blocks, exposed rebar, poor finishing
  • Safety flags: missing guardrails, no helmet, no harness at height, open edges and openings
  • Each flag shows a box on the photo and how closely it matches known examples
  • Nothing becomes a snag until a person confirms it

Capabilities

Built for how sites actually run.

01

Works on existing photos

Photos from checklists, snags and daily progress are reviewed as they upload. Nobody has to take extra pictures.

02

Boxed and labelled

Each flag is drawn on the photo with a label, so the engineer sees exactly what was spotted and where.

03

Confirm or reject

One tap confirms a flag and opens a snag. One tap rejects it. Both decisions are recorded with the reviewer's name.

04

Safety first in the queue

Safety flags such as an open edge or a worker at height without a harness go to the top of the safety officer's queue.

05

Learns from your reviews

Rejected flags help tune what is shown on your projects, so the queue stays useful and short.

06

Clear limits

The spotter only flags. It does not approve stages, close snags or replace supervision and statutory inspections.

How it runs

Four steps, every time.

  1. 1

    Photo uploads

An engineer takes a photo during a checklist, a snag or a daily walk.

  2. 2

    AI flags

Possible defects and safety risks are boxed and labelled on the photo.

  3. 3

    Engineer decides

A qualified person confirms or rejects each flag.

  4. Snag raised

Confirmed flags become snags with owner, deadline and severity.

Safety and accuracy

The AI Defect Spotter flags possible defects and risks. Qualified engineers and safety officers confirm and decide. Consteng supports safety work but does not replace site supervision, safety officers or statutory inspections. Worker photos are used only for safety and quality records, never for disciplinary surveillance.
